Addiction plays many roles and comes in many forms in life. Creating lies along with pain to keep you dependent on the substance to give you that dopamine jolt towards your  neurotransmitter in the central nervous system.

Rewarding it with emotional euphoria, but in reality lying and fooling you all along setting you up for a major trap into a life of pure hell and dependence on the substance.

A dependence so strong you will throw out all reasoning and morals, selling out all that ever was good in your life just for the quick trill that just last momentarily. This disease will lie and cause fear to control you. This is part of the struggle of addiction, recognize this and don’t let it keep cycling and control you.

If you do then you are in trouble, for it will consume your whole life if you allow it, on the other hand you can choose to overcome it, the choice is all yours. No lies here, I have been there and done it, you name it I have done it. If I can do it you can! No more B.S. just the cold hard truth, have you gotten tired of living a lie yet?

Now I’m not here to past judgement on anyone, if this sound that way then your mind is playing games with you and this is another part of your struggles that you have inherit with this disease. I am merely sharing with you my journey and pains and if you have been following this blog you will find this to be a fact.

So if you are on towards the road of recovery than congratulations, you have my encouragement and prayers with you. If you have not and have decide to stay stuck in the pain along your personal hell then, you also have my prayers for safety and guidance for your true happiness what ever that may be in your journey.

Peace to all and God’s Speed 🙂

We are here to share our experience with drug addiction how it affects both the addict and their families along with their friends. Bringing awareness about the war on drugs an how it has failed in many ways. You are welcome to comment even if you might disagree with the post, we here are a free speech zone. We will post it as long it's constructive towards solutions rather then being to harsh and judgmental causing it to be part of the problem. Thank you for such an inspirational post. I have many years of sobriety and I thank God that I’m here today. My journey through recovery was one of the most difficult things I have ever accomplished; harder than graduating from college, giving birth or being a mother of 2. Looking back at how far I’ve come and what I’ve overcome I know that with great determination and the right drug rehab program ending addiction is possible. Your blog is a positive beacon of hope and a wonderful resource for addicts, recovered addicts and friends and family members of addicted individuals.
