Back out at the Pike

Dunkin Donuts

Well I flew back to Florida on the April 15th, I have some business I need to take care of and as I flew into town I thought I would run out and see if anyone was out at the Pike. I stop by the Mobil station and went in the Dunkin Donuts to see if anyone I knew was there.

Well I did run into someone who work there and he showed me a picture of my friend Angel Face, she look happy in the picture and was pregnant. It made me smile and I had a good feeling come over me. This made my trip worth while and also not seeing some of the other girls out there was a good feeling 🙂

I did run into some of the guys out here and they did not have much to say to me and I did see one other girl but she did not recognize me I guess, she was with her old man and maybe that might had something to do with it since these men out here seem to believe that these women are property.

I then went to the back were the BP truck stop parking lot is for the truckers, there is this table out back were they all hang out at. The girls would hangout her to get tricks and the boys would try to get some work from the truckers polishing their rims and rigs.

As you can see in both pictures there is not much business going on and they are all feeling the pinch of a downward spiraling economy. So for the girls that still might be out here it is getting harder for them to make money for their addiction! So I am very happy that my friend Angel Face is gone and not in this hell hole!

This weekend is Easter, and on the behalf of Angel Face Foundation, I wish everyone a Happy Easter. It is a day of resurrection, a day of atonement, a chance for us all to love and grow in Him 🙂

My work has just begun out here, I will try to reach out with the help of others if any of these young ladies want a change from this disease and curse that has them believing that they are not worthy. Surly, they are someones daughters, someones sister or friend even maybe the young girl next door. This is what Angel Face Foundation is all about, simply a hand up, instead knocking them down like the establishment does.

You are always welcome to add your voice here in the comment section, Peace and Gods Speed towards your journey 🙂

Bringing awareness about the war on drugs an how it has failed in many ways. You are welcome to comment even if you might disagree with the post, we here are a free speech zone. We will post it as long it's constructive towards solutions rather then being to harsh and judgmental causing it to be part of the problem.
